3rd Medical Oncology Review Course

INVITING ALL MEDICAL ONCOLOGY SENIOR RESIDENTS / REGISTRARS AND SPECIALIST NURSES IN ONCOLOGY
The Singapore Society of Oncology (SSO) is organizing its 3rd Medical Oncology Review Course in February 2021 for Medical Oncology Senior Residents, Registrars and Specialist Nurses.
This course will be held in a hybrid format. Talks will be delivered via Zoom video conferencing and Vivas will be conducted In Person. The meeting registration is free.
This course will be conducted over 3 days.
Days 1 and 2 will concentrate on the basics of oncology which are essential for Medical Oncology Trainees (SR1) as they transit into their specialist training – a ‘survivor’s guide’. It is also useful for Specialist Nurses in Oncology.
Days 2 and 3 are structured as an intensive revision course to prepare Senior Medical Oncology Trainees (SR3) for their specialist exit examinations.
Medical Oncology Trainees (SR2) who are in the midst of their specialist training will appreciate the comprehensive ‘survivor’s guide’ as they continue to accumulate knowledge and experience. It is to their advantage to observe the standard expected at the mock viva examinations.
SSO welcomes Registrars, Trainees and Specialist Nurses from other disciplines, namely Surgical Oncology, Palliative Medicine and Radiation Oncology to join.
