The COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, globalisation, armed conflicts and economic crises have widened inequities and challenged progress in cancer control. In response, UICC has concluded the theme of the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit, Cancer Control in a Changing World, to encourage discussions on how  to tackle these pressing issues and highlight the need for a new standard of international cooperation.
